Jennifer Thiebaud provides expert guidance for companies to manage the social and environmental impacts of global supply chains by connecting them with ARCHE Advisors services such as social compliance assessments, due diligence program development, training, investigations, or other customized advisory service. She works with clients to create holistic workplace improvement strategies.

Before joining ARCHE Advisors in 2017, Jennifer managed responsible sourcing and sustainability programs at Nordstrom and Amazon for over 13 years. She has experience across sectors and value chains, including apparel, footwear, jewelry, cosmetics, electronics, agriculture, and more. She builds programs from the ground up, forms strong partnerships, and implements risk-mitigating standards. In addition, she has traveled to hundreds of suppliers globally to build training and remediation programs based on transparency, installing data-driven, achievable milestones.

Jennifer has a long history as a strong collaborator in multi-stakeholder initiatives such as AAFA, FLA, Cascale, BSR, Better Work, RBA, and more. She has been instrumental in developing industry-led worker empowerment programs in grievance mechanisms, migrant labor, women’s health and literacy, safety, and food. Further, she has created and implemented company policies related to environment, traceability, and animal welfare.

She currently serves on the Steering Committee for Social Responsibility for the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) and through her leadership and expertise, Jennifer supports the committee in meaningful dialog to achieve impact throughout the value chain.

Jennifer holds bachelor’s degree in international relations and French from the University of Washington.
